First off, make sure that you read the contract that states that they will not be responsible for any damage, liquid, vandelism or theft of any sort clause#17.
This service was the absolute worst service I have encountered ever. I made my car available during certain time, they did not pick it up until days, maybe a week later. It took the driver well over a week, as it was quoted to me. When the driver arrived the car was completely covered in oil, I contacted the carrier they said that they would reimburse - just to give me the run around for more than 8 months about my 70.00 that I spent on a wash and new windshield wipers. I STILL have oil in places that can't be reached with a regular wash. I was unaware that aacrossusa.com was solely a broker and that the company that they would have pick up my car would not answer the phones after the transaction had taken place. I would never refer their services, I am sure you can find a better company that treats your care better than this company treated mines. If you must use this company make sure you read the "contract" thoroughly

This order was done last year. The complaint is against the carrier because there was fluid leaked that leaked on the car. All brokers and carriers have a disclaimer for leaking fluids. See below: The Carrier will not be responsible for damage caused by leaking fluids, battery acids, cooling system antifreeze, rock chips, acts of God, vandalism, damage caused by freezing of cooling system and/or batteries, mechanical functions (including alarms), alignment, suspension, exhaust assembly, antennas that do not retract to within three inches of vehicle body, windshields that crack due to previous existing chips or extreme changes in weather conditions, convertible tops that are loose, torn, or have visible wear, vehicle caps, masks, bras or any other type of canvas material covering. Also Jane said she didn't know we were a broker. In the first paragraph of our email the following is stated: We are a family owned and operated transport brokerage. For Jane to blame us for this is like blaming your travel agent if the airline looses your luggage.
