I understand 1st Choice was going through a relocation which contributed to the lack of responsiveness. I couldn't get a phone call or an email returned. Once I did speak to Brandy, the owner, I thought she would help resolve a problem with the contracted carrier. The carrier miscommunicated the delivery window, waited 10 minutes and left the area without delivering the auto. The interaction with the driver was less than professional. Admittedly, I went there too in my frustration with him. However, the contracted carrier held my vehicle hostage and refused to deliver it. I had to take off work, make a 150 mile round trip to pick up the vehicle and was charged $145 more than the agreed upon price. I might be able to understand the increase in price IF the carrier attempted re-delivery. But, to charge $145 more for me to make the trip to a storage facilty across the street from his house hardly inconvenienced him. I was disappointed that 1st Choice did not intervene on my behalf to resolve the issue. I contracted them to haul my auto and they basically washed their hands of the situation.

Kim, I completely understand your frustration with your situation. However I personally spoke to the driver three different times the morning that he was scheudled to deliver your vehicle, and he and myself could not reach you. When the driver did reach you you by phone your words were very hostile and the driver at that time felt he needed to honor another committment to another cusomter when he had already been waiting for over two hours. We did not charge you anything extra the storage facility charged you storage, and if your read your contract it clearly states that if you are not avalible for delivery or do not make yourself avaible for delivery the driver can store the vehcile. I could understand if the driver had only given you an hours notice however you yourself told me that he called you the night before with a time frame for morning and you say he said 12 he says he said 10. Even still I know we both tried to call you between 10 and 12 to no answer. I really apologize for your troubles we always hope transports go smoothly!
