I was told that my car would be picked up on fri. 10/29/10. Lie and exuses after lie and excuses car picked up 2 weeks later. Now a week after that they can not even confirm when the car will ship! They would not give me the 3 to the place where the car is supposed to be! I found it on my own and was told that the shipper has lots of problems with this company. Not getting paid, unhappy customers etc. Turns out car is not even scheduled to get to Costa Rice until dec. 15th. I was origonally told it would be 7-10 days from the 29th.
I don't know what to do now. Stuck. PlEASE BELIEVE, NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am paying over $500 a week for a 4x4 rental here with no end in site. These people have no ethics at all.
When calling I have been put on hold for over 20 minutes, left on hold, transfered back and forth between their 4 employees. Never given any answered. I have been told repeatedly that an e-mail was coming. never happens!

Mr. Christopher booked his move on 10/21/2010 and paid a deposit. He scheduled a pickup date of 10/28-10/29. He was asked to leave $150 as payment to the driver at the pickup location and was given the requirements to ship the vehicle. On 11/1, we still had not received all of the information from the customer required by customs in order to ship. We sent an email requesting legible copies of ID, a power of attorney for shipping, and the value of the vehicle. No response was received. We went ahead and arranged to have the vehicle picked up and made the booking with the steamship anyway, so as to not have the vehicle sitting at a hotel. The customer has been kept informed via telephone and email throughout the move. We spoke on 11/5 and went over the details of the shipment. A timeline for shipping of 10-14 days from Tampa to Costa Rica was given. The customer expressed that this is not what he had been originally told. A driver was scheduled to pick up the vehicle on 11/5 and details for the driver were sent to Mr. Christopher via email. The vehicle was not picked up on the scheduled date because (and as has been explained to the customer), on 11/5 the driver contacted the location that the vehicle was at and was told by someone there that the vehicle was not there. The driver cancelled the order. We had asked the customer prior to the attempted pick up what the contact person’s name was at the hotel. He told us that he didn’t know, because he had not asked the name of the person at the hotel that he had given the money to. We contacted the hotel the following business day, 11/8, and spoke with Eddie at the front desk. He confirmed that he had been given the money for the driver and that the car was there. The customer was notified of this via phone conversation with Customer Service. We gave him a 2-3 day timeline for a second pickup attempt. On 11/10, we again assigned another driver and told him to ask for Eddie for pickup details. He successfully picked up the vehicle on 11/11 and delivered it to the port on 11/12 without issue. On 11/17 customer called in requesting status. We spoke with him and emailed him a copy of the dock receipt. We again discussed the timeline for customs and sailing with him. We confirmed that the vehicle had been delivered to the port in Tampa. The customer has since requested permission to deal directly with the port and we have heard nothing further from him.
