Avoid like the plague!

I booked a shipment through the online platform "Shiply" in August, with a scheduled pickup for December 4th. All communication with this company was done through a chat feature on Shiply, and Shiply charged me a refundable deposit. In September I chatted with them that I needed to cancel the order. They saw the message. I emailed Shiply and had my deposit refunded. I assumed that was the end of it. December 4th came and went. Nothing from this company. On December 15th I get a message from a truck driver saying he was coming on the 17th. I also noticed they charged by credit card for $180, which I remember was the "driver dispatch fee". I called them and reminded them that the order had been cancelled months ago, they told me to email the owner for a refund request. Three days later, I get a reply saying that they never received written notice (they did), and that a $75 admin fee would be charged to have the dispatch fee refunded. Not only did I cancel the shipment, but they charged me for a pickup over a week after it was initially scheduled! I've already opened a dispute with my credit card, and I'll let them handle it. Very glad I never let them take possession of my car, I can't imagine what else could have gone wrong.
