Disappointed

We were dissatisfied with the carrier for multiple reasons. The first was the really poor communications for pick-up and delivery. I expected the flexible timing, I have some understanding about the nature of that business, but an unwillingness to communicate well and live up to commitments like giving an hour notice before delivery is just poor service. The second and more serious item was the condition of the car on delivery. First, the driver refused to take the car into the apartment complex so the exchange happened at the complex entrance which isn’t the end of the world but for some reason both front tires were nearly flat (9 psi in one and 15 psi in the other) so the vehicle couldn’t be driven. The front tires were also encrusted with mud. The car had just been completely serviced by Honda prior to picking up and they verified the tires were in good condition and my daughter just had the car washed prior to transport. I know it was going to be open transported so I expeted some road dirt but mud caked tires is not OK. Lastly, both front windows were down when the car was delivered. Why? How long had they been down? Did they drive through rain with them down? My son complained to the driver and his answer was to give my son back $20 of the $600 he paid. Something else that should concern you, he offered my son a “spare” NJ plate since my son didn’t have a plate for the car yet and was going to have to deal with the flat tires.
