This was my second time using a car transport company. First time I had no issues (with a different company) but this time with Illini Auto Transport has been a nightmare. My 2003 Acura CL was picked up on 7/4/15 and dropped off 7/19/15. When I received the car there was a dent on the roof above the drivers seat, the passenger door lock was jammed and my door won't open, my factory security alarm system was "wonky" and only worked intermittently, the front driver side rim was ripped and my bumper paint was damaged from the brackets.
I hear a god awful screeching sound when I turn the steering wheel and noises coming from the front end of the car and a loud noise from the rear. None of these issues were present before transport. Illini has not answered ANY of my calls/texts since they dropped off the car. They've simply disappeared. I filed a claim with their insurance company and I'm still waiting to hear back.
My advice to you, take pics and even video of your vehicle before it's picked up and I would NEVER hire Illini Auto Transport.
