I should've known something was wrong when the representative, Gavin, kept forgetting the convience he offered of writing a company check or credit card. But I proceeded anyway. I was called on a Sunday, that my car was being delivered the next day. Had he called on Saturday morning and told me his contracted driver needed cash, I could've done that. So on Monday morning when the car arrived, the driver called to inform me he WOULD NOT deliver to my home, and made me drive 20 mines to get my car!
When I arrived, I found that the entire undercarriage was so loose that it slammed into the top of my car, leaving large dents all over the roof, as well as deep scratches from an overhanging chain. I pointed it out to the driver, who accepted responsibility, but refused to take the car to a body shop I knew nearby for an estimate. Instead, he wanted CASH, and would not release the car until I came back with it. About the damage, he told me to get an estimate and send it to him. I asked for his insurance, which he refused to provide, so I called World Wide, who then provided it. While in line at the bank to get the money, I discovered the policy EXPIRED OVER A YEAR AGO!
Confronted with this information when I returned, he finally gave me a copy of his current insurance, but insisted that I get the money from him instead. So I complied and sent the estimate of $478.71, which I thought was EXTREMELY FAIR considering the damage. No reply. I called World Wide over two weeks, to which Gavin asked for a copy of the estimate and promised that the matter would be resolved. In fact, a week later, he told me the check was being sent to the body shop. A week later and still no check. So the body shop called, and was told to do the repair and that the company would provide a credit card then the work was done. Funny how they expect others to accept credit cards when they won't do the same for THEIR CUSTOMERS! The work was finished, and when the shop called for the credit card, they were rudely insulted and REFUSED PAYMENT!
So now Gavin at World Wide wants to start negotiating all over again by phone after sending him an email that the payment still wasn'tmade. Did I mention the car was delivered THREE MONTHS AGO? I had to pay the body shop myself. So now I want the money sent to me!
This is nothing short of FRAUD! If I don't get my money I'll put them through so much legal trouble it'll cost them ten times what they owe me!
