What a learning experience! I went online and asked for a quote to have my car transported from AL to OR and got bids ranging from $975 to over $1700 as well as a barrage of phone calls and e-mails mostly from the higher priced carriers warning me not to use the lower proced carriers. I decided to call the carrier that seemed the most personal and family-oriented to ask them how tha whole process worked. Jarred answered the phone and told me the whole process. From contractor fees to the load board. Contrary to what the higher priced company's said, Webster said they only kept $100 of the fee and would even add that to the load board price after 10 business days. I decided that I had more time than I did money so I hired Webster put my car on the load board for $900. After 7 business days I called and added an additional $100 to the price I was willing to pay and the car moved within a couple more days...door to door diagonally accross the country. I am a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!
