Never had a vehicle shipped before. Found the exact truck I wanted, but it was across the country. Took 2 risks - first, I bought a used truck without even test driving it. Second, I was going to trust a stranger to pick it up and haul it from Ohio to Texas - while hurricane Helene seemed to hang directly over the dealership!
I’d read horror stories online of people’s experiences with brokers and drivers…sometimes multiple drivers playing hot potato with their car, leaving it unattended in random parking lots, not responding, taking unplanned weeks to finally deliver (or in some cases never delivering).
After seeing Nina’s posts in a few online forums, giving advice to others about how to ensure they’re working with a reputable company, I sent a message asking for her guidance on how to get my recently purchased truck from Columbus to Austin. This was on a Thursday evening, and around 9:00 that same night she gave me her number to text for more details. By 10:00 she had all my info and was already looking for drivers.
The next morning, Nina let me know she was still looking for drivers but that most stopped in Dallas. This worked for me, and made things that much easier for the transport. We had a driver locked in at about 12 in the afternoon, who said he could pick up at the dealership on Saturday afternoon between 1-2pm.
On Saturday, right at the time they told me, I had a driver at the dealership. He loaded up my truck and was on his way to Texas. The driver & his dispatcher both communicated directly with me and set the expectation of a Monday afternoon drop off.
On Sunday, the driver asked if I’d be okay with a morning dropoff around 9am. This was great - I flew into Dallas Sunday evening, and met the driver the next morning at 9:37am. It’s crazy to me how straightforward this experience was!
Nina gave me full confidence, which ended up being well deserved due to her vetting of drivers that exemplify professionalism. I couldn’t be happier and will gladly recommend this company & Nina to anyone who’s looking for similar services.
