My overall experience was very positive. My car was picked up when I originally scheduled and dropped off only two days later. The two guys who picked it up (Viking just brokered it out to JR's Auto Transport) were the same ones who drove it the entire way. They were both very kind and assuring during pick up and delivery and gave me their cell phone number to contact them at any time if I had any questions or concerns.
One thing to be aware of is that this is simply a broker and so definite dates and times aren't really available ahead of time. As with any auto transport, the pick up and delivery is often vague and until you actually speak with your scheduled driver (only within 24 hrs of pick-up) you will not know exactly when your pick-up will occur. Delivery also was somewhat indefinite even up to the day they dropped it off. My car actually made it up to Massachusetts before we did, but I had planned for my family to be there to accept the car and make payment. They also accept only cash or certified check and don't tell you until the last two days that you are NOT supposed to make the check out to Viking Auto Transport, since you pay the driver directly (in this case - JR's Auto Transport). Because I had to send a certified check up to my family early in case my car made it there before we did - I had already made my check out to Viking Auto Transport - so now I am left with the long process of refunding a certified check and paying the fees associated with this... an annoyance (and charge) that could have easily been avoided had Viking provided this info ahead of time. Meanwhile, the drivers said they always prefer cash anyway, so just forget the certified checks - they're a pain all around.

Overall I'd still recommend Viking for their great rates, but would try JR's Auto Transport first to see if I could schedule them directly since that's really who took care of my transport.
