I spoke with Tony at Viking auto and he seemed like an honest individual, boy was I wrong. When he gave me a quote he did not even look at the route necessary to deliver my car. On the DAY my car was supposed to be picked up, I called the dispatcher, and he told me that he did not even know if he was going to be able to take my car to it's location in Durango, CO due to the fact that it was not located near any major freeways.

When I inquired as to why Tony had not checked the route before he gave me the prices, he said that it was not Tony's job. So basically Tony is just giving quotes and not looking at the routes, that's like a doctor giving a medical diagnosing without running any tests. It was just ridiculous!

To make a long story short I had to wind up driving my car to Durango.

I would also like to point out the fact that Viking Auto Transport does not guarantee pick up times or deliver dates, so if you are in a crunch and need a definite pick up and delivery time, LOOK ELSEWHERE! DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING WHAT THEY SAY, read the paperwork, it is clearly expressed they don't guarantee anything.

I have to admit that they did refund me my money though, so the experience was not all bad, that is why I decided to give them average cust. svc. rating.

I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone looking to transport their car GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE. You have been warned!

Under normal conditions all our cars are picked up during the estimated pic-up dates. As brokers we are not able to guarantee a pick up days since the truck can get delayed due to mechanical failueres or unforseen circumstances that can come up during the transport that Viking has no control of. This customer is stating that Tony was dishonest, this compnay searched the record on this job, and it was noted that the customer was explained that Durango was OUT OF THE WAY AND THAT IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO GET A DRIVER TO TO GO TO THIS LOCATION. Customer insisted that we try anyway to find him a truck .Who is being disshonest? We were not able to find him a truck on a timely mannerr, so customer canceled the job and the deposiit has been fully refunded...Rick H.
