Misleading conversation with representative.
I was really clear with questions and the ONLY reason I booked the transport is because they told me I could put my things in the car until window level, without obstructing the window view. I was very clear in the conversation, I told him I was moving to California and I was going to pack my truck and send it. I specifically ask him if I could put things in my car and his answer was YES. He never mention there was a 200 pound weight limit or that was up to the truck driver if he wanted to take the SUV with things inside.
I booked the service for $1000, they later change the price saying that the driver was complaining for the SUV size, charging me an extra $50. When the SUV was been pick up, the driver told me he didn't knew about the cargo and that he was going to charge extra.
I call Jason (dispatch), he explained me the weight limit and explain me the regulations. He told me the driver had the right to complain and that was up to him. I ask him to find me another transport, for which he told me that I need it to pay an extra $225.
He apologized about the misleading conversation with the UTS representative (Shane), but there was nothing else he could do.
I lost the deposit, I will be driving myself.
I am really pissed off right now, I do not mind paying extra for the service but misleading the customer is just wrong!
