I am extremely pleased with the service I received from United Freight. I wanted to ship a car and requested a quote online. I received what seemed a fair quote from United Freight, but had questions about the timeline of services. I spoke to Guy G. on the phone and he explained every step of the process (from contract to getting my job selected by a driver/carrier to pick-up and drop-off). After faxing back a contract and putting down a deposit, United Freight assigned me a 3 day window (based on the earliest date I wanted to shoot for) of time when my vehicle would be picked up. On day 2 of my window, the driver contacted me (or rather, my shipping contact) to say exactly what time he'd be there on day 3 to pick up the car. The pick-up location was arranged by the driver and he even arranged a ride home for my contact (since the pick-up location needed to be somewhere with enough room to load the truck). At the time of pick-up, a Thursday, the driver gave an estimated delivery/drop-off date of Sunday or Monday and said he'd call in advance to arrange for delivery. On Sunday afternoon the driver called to say he'd be there on Monday morning between 7:30-8am. A few hours later he called back and said "how about 10-10:30pm tonight?" And then at about 10:20pm, he called to say he was around the corner from my house. I took delivery of the car, paid him the remainder of the balance from my contract and that was it. I received fantastic service from both Guy at United Freight and the driver Aagi.
