I am a repeat customer. Last year I moved from California to TX at a cost of $745 per car (I had 2 cars) and the deposit was $150 per car. The cars did show up 2 days late but overall the experience was good. Boy how times have changed and this company has changed big time!
I contacted Jessica in May and advised that we would be doing another move. We were going from TX back to California. This time the rate was $845 I asked if we could pay the same as last year and she made it happen. So the price went down to $745 per car and the deposit was $150. I was happy and things looked good.
A week before it was time to move I started to find out that Jessica had turned into a scam artist in the past year. She contacted me to have a driver pick the cars up on 7/31/13 even though I asked for a pick up around August 2nd due to working so I wasnt about to accept this offer. 3 days before my move she "claims" she is having a hard time finding a driver! She knew since May when I was leaving so this did not make any sense at all. At the last min she "claims" she found a "express" pick up driver and that it would be a extra $203 to secure the driver. She then "claims" that the express pick up driver require a larger deposit and this is where the LIES begin. The amount ends up back to the orginal amount of $845 per car...how funny! She advised that if I didnt have the money to pay I would have to figure something else out but I was still losing my deposit AND would have to pay a FEE to cancel! I could not believe it! So I went ahead and paid.
The driver showed up late to pick the cars up but he did come. My family left for California the next day. We were told by the driver AND Jessica we would get the cars in 3-4 days...will that DID NOT HAPPEN. The driver picked up the cars on 8/4 and we did not get them until 8/16!
While checking in with the driver I found out a lot of information and find out that Jessica and her supervisor Guy had ripped me off! Comes to find out the money I paid for the deposit went in Jessica's pockets and had nothing to do with the driver at all! The driver advised he does not do express and he was ALREADY in route! He advised the deposit was a broker fee and I should have only paid $150. DO NOT do business with this dishonest company!
