Smitty did so much more than anybody else. He treated me as if I was one of his family members...just flat out AMAZING SERVICE!!! Smitty got the job DONE while all the competition was attempting to "bump up" the pricing on me.
I got numerous quotes from all the competitors. THEY ALL TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR, A LOW PRICE, NOT THE PRICE TO GET PICKED UP. None of them knew the correct route pricing....they all were guessing like throwing darts at a board 100 feet away. They had me posted for three weeks WASTING MY TIME playing their guessing game. The competition is still trying to guess the pricing "on the Central Dispatch board" & at least 2 companies STILL have my vehicle listed SO FAR DOWN ON THE PRICING of the board they are both at the tied for last place. Talk about a group of Einsteins !!
When I spoke to Smitty he told me up front he was familiar with the route and was not going to post my vehicle on Central Dispatch, just call one of the carriers that he knew did the route. When he called back a few minutes later, he not only told me the exact price that was to get my Classic Vette picked up, but he had the truck driver on the phone so that I could hear Smitty dispatch the order to the driver, sign off on it, and emailed me the order confirmation with the pricing and driver's direct contact information. THE DRIVER TOLD ME HE WOULD NEVER PICK UP MY CAR FOR WHAT THE COMPETITION HAD IT LISTED FOR BECAUSE IT WAS WAY TOO LOW.
Smitty is a true pleasure to speak & deal with. He took the time to answer all of my questions. It was like going to school with smart, fun and cool professor. Smitty's attitude is as if he did something as a person that really cares versus all the other money grubbers.
I also appreciated after the delivery Smitty called to make sure that I got the services he had promised. The trucking team was wonderful. Very nice people. Beautiful rig.
