Shipping a vehicle to the Virgin Islands can be challenging at best. One of the reasons I chose ultimate 1 to 3 was the guaranteed price and the willingness to except no payment until complete and delivered. As it worked out I had to battle against having the price nearly double after we had a contract and I was required to pay the entire amount the day in my vehicle was picked up to be shipped. On the positive side the staff at Crowley shipping and the Virgin Islands was excellent. It would have been helpful to have a bit of a checklist with locations where tasks needed to be accomplished prior to picking up the vehicle. I was also required to pay a tariff which was supposedly included in the price but when my vehicle arrived here I still had to go and pay at the tax office and then proceed to the customs office and it was a bit of guessing and trial and error before I found the correct offices. In the future it would have been very helpful if that information was provided ahead of time where to go what the address was possibly even directions. Overall I am satisfied, the vehicle did not experience any damage at all and the driver who picked up my vehicle was especially helpful and friendly. All in all staff earns four stars but the process earns two stars. I would recommend this service to somebody else but I would also make sure that as many details as possible Were made available ahead of time. Perhaps I could’ve stood my ground and refuse to pay an additional 800 Dollar road tarriff However if I had done that I probably will still be waiting for my truck.,
