When I started looking for a shipper for a car I purchased out of state, I was a little concerned when I went online to a website to request a quote. Within moments, I was bombarded with emails and phone calls from dozens of companies looking to set up my shipping for me. It only took a moment to realize how many of them sounded too good to be true or just plain scary. How to tell who to go with and who to avoid? Thank goodness one of the companies to contact me was Patrick at Ultimate! He began not by pressuring me to take advantage of "an opening that just came up on one of his trucks", but instead explained how the broker system for shipping cars works. At first I didn't trust him and told him I would get back to him after I evaluated all my quotes. Well, everything ended up just as he said, with people calling me with promices that were too good to be true and floods of emails pressuring me with "take advantage of my driver with an opening" deals, even though as a broker they typically had no drivers actually working for them. In any event, I eventually called Ultimate back and did a deal with them. Pat was honest and upfront with me and kept me posted with progress from finding a driver, thru pickup and delivery. It was a pleasure using Ultimate, and I have already begun recommending them to others needing to ship a car! Thanks again Pat and Ultimate!
