Since I had never shipped before and having experienced many bad customer service issues across the board in FL- especially reguarding my newly purchased used Focus I decided to BBB autotransport companies for my move back to my home state-MO. I contacted 5 via the BBB website the 4 closest to Tamarac & one that had the biggest listing. Only 2 answered and Ultimate Auto Shipping was the quickest. I went to Pat's site, which had a video & almost seemed to dare people to read their customer reviews, so I called. He explained the process in detail. He also gave me an ballpark estimate,was patient & kept in contact with me through the lengthy delay of several weeks in getting tags/title. I also spoke to Jo-Ann & got the same friendly, knowledgable treatment. When I was finally ready he was able to find a recently vacant spot the next day. He gave me the shipper/driver's name. The driver jumped the car-suggested maybe an alternator problem & offered to transport to a autorepair shop up there, made sure to raise the top deck on the carrier up so the antenna would clear (on the Focus it's on the roof),gave me a delivery estimate/paperwork and was off-pretty quickly. According to my friend (since I was still in FL at the time) he gave enough advance notice for them to meet up. Smooth as silk. Would definitely use Ultimate Auto Shipping, Inc. again.
