I did a ton of research before choosing Ultimate Auto Shipping. I checked this site, Transportation Reviews, as well as the Better Business Bureau. As a law enforcement officer of more than 29 years, I am aware of the many horror stories associated with shipping and moving companies.
I spoke with Pat Lynch, the owner of the company and was upfront about my concerns and expectations of him. I knew full well that he was a broker, and that ultimately he would be responsible for choosing the carrier that would transport the car. THIS IS IMPORTANT... If he were to use a substandard or unreliable carrier, I would suffer.
I found Pat Lynch to be an excellent communicator with good follow up skills. He offer me tips on how I should or should not include items in the trunk, and what to expect from the process. He reached out to the carrier for me so that I was updated each time I called or had a question.
There were no suprises during the process. The price quoted was the price paid.
I would definately use him again.
