I received a quote for shipping a car for $300. Once accepted, I was then required to pay $100 as a deposit. 18 hours before agreed pick-up date, I was told the driver wants more money. I was not made aware that US Star Trucking sub contracts the drivers. I said that we have a signed contract with an agreed price. I was then told to look at #7 on the contract which states the US Star Trucking has an additional 7 days after the pick up date to find a driver at the agreed price!!! Talk about pressure tactic to get more money. I was suppose to pay the driver $200 which was the balance. I was then told it would take $400 to get the delivery done on the day it was scheduled. I will never do business with this company again and suggest others read the poor reviews and stay away!!
