I talked to Adam after getting tons of phone calls for an online bid for a car ship from NC to CA in August of 2013. He was nice on the phone and even though it seemed strange, I gave him my Checking Number over the phone to confirm my order. His bid was the lowest of dozens which I later learned is how he baits you.
The check went through and when my big move across country came around, I never heard from him. I called 11 times. I emailed frantically. I left my car in Charlotte and moved to California with an 8 month old baby. I did some research and found out that he is a con artist. His company isn't legitimate and there is a class action suit against this man. He is being investigated all over the place and keeps creating companies under different names.
I then found a company on Angie's List that was great and had my car out to me in 3 days. I paid $1200 and his quote had been $855. He may or may submit quotes to Central Dispatch, I'm unsure about that, but if he does, they're too low for anyone to pick up. He is not a real car shipper. I read reviews about people who even had their cars picked up and then they got stranded somewhere random.
If you are one of his victims, you can call your bank and tell them you are a victim of fraud. THEY WILL REVERSE YOUR CHECK FOR FREE BECAUSE OF FRAUD. I did this and he had the audacity to try and draft the money AGAIN after my bank account had been frozen. He claims to be non refundable but he forged an additional check from my account again. Of course it won't go through because my account has already been frozen and I have reported him to everyone I can. Here is the link if you are a victim. Do not let him steal your $150! That's how he makes his money.
BEWARE of super low quotes. All the legitimate companies are about the same price.
