I would advise ANYONE to ask their broker FIRST if they use the carrier US Auto Transport, Inc., also known as American Auto Transportation. This company is based in Spokane, WA. Please see my review of American Auto Transportation, and the other reviews as well. If the broker does, DO NOT let that company transport your 'baby'! There is a lot of truth to the old adage, "Birds of a feather flock together."

Our car was shipped for a company paid move. I do not care that our car was late; what I care about is the downright dishonesty, negligence, of this very sketchy, sleazy outfit. To elaborate:

The evening before the car was delivered, the driver called to ask us if we could give him cash, as he had no money for gas and other expenses. When he brought the car to my husband's work, the government check was written out to the broker, Cross Country Auto (please see my negative review of them). The driver said he needed a check written out to his company; understandable. He said he would return the next day with the vehicle. He lied. The next day we got a call from American Auto Transportation telling us that our car was at an undisclosed location, and when they received their money, they would tell us where the car was. Six days, and 120 additional dollars later, we found out our car was 17 miles away. The owner of the shop, certainly not designated by us, signed off on our car that was damaged to the tune of $600! (That was the estimate for the dent on the hood. I diid not get an estimate for the dent on the roof because the paint was not damaged and hard to see anyway.)

I called AAT at least 7 times, no response. Well, since someone signed off on the car, they did not have to care. However, an honest company would have known that the damages were not there at pick up just by looking at the original paperwork, and they would have offered to fix the car.

This company is very bad news. I wouldn't let these @!#$%^&*+_%^S ship a damn letter.
