Melanie was very unreasonable. NY had just got 20 inches of snow. Her brother said he had to cancel his flight and said he couldn't even get out of the driveway. He understood that our truck could not load him that day or the next. Melanie is very condescending and kept saying we had notice, she was a repeat customer, just do our job, she would trash us everywhere,etc An employee told her we would be happy to load once the roads are clear but if she would like to fire us then do so. As a carrier and it is snowbird season with thousands of vehicles needing to go to Florida we can easily fill the truck once the roads open. She got very ghetto and cursed my aunt out horribly and threatened violence. I contacted her brother 2 days later and he said she hired a broker for $250 more and gave a deposit and he didn't need our help. The broker finally got it moved 9 days later. Melanie is ignorant and trashy.
