Incompetence and deceit - do not use this company

I paid for this service up front with a credit card. Car was scheduled to be picked up on 11/29/13. I Received an email from the company confirming delivery of the car on 12/5/13. I received a phone call from the intended recipient on 12/9/13 asking where the car was. I called Truck-it-transport and they AGAIN confirmed delivery. Further research (on my end) confirmed that car was never picked up. At this point, I told the shipper to cancel the order. It took numerous emails requesting a cancellation confirmation and a refund. I received a partial refund on 12/12/13. Company is refusing to refund balance citing "cancellation was done during 'contract' period". Ironically, if I had not brought it to their attention, the contract period would have ended and the "contract" would have expired on it's own. By the way, this company contends that if you give them credit card information and ship to/delivery to information, you have a contract. I never signed or approved anything. These people are incompetent and deceitful. Stay as far away from them as possible.

FOLLOW UP:
1. I NEVER used a foul word in any of the communications between me and this broker and I have the emails to prove it.
2. I had to inform the company the car had not been delivered. NEVER at any point in time did they inform me that I would not receive a full refund if I did not allow them to ship the car with a different carrier. They simply said, "we are sorry, we would like to find another carrier, if not we will start the cancellation process".
3. I NEVER contacted another broker. I simply informed the company I no longer wished to have the car shipped.
4. My emails with this broker were completely professional, and repeatedly ignored. Again, I have the emails to prove it.
5. The broker is correct in one aspect. I did say I would post negative reviews. But, I also said I would not if they made they made it right. I said in two separate emails "I'm sorry you have taken this route". Once again, emails to prove it.

What is amazing is a carrier has a minor error, and a customer will explode with negatives for usthe actual broker, not the carrier who made the mistake, all over the internet, file with the BBB, threaten to sue, spam our emails. It just doesnt end from this guy. This guy has been fully refunded from the beginning. Even though there was a mistake, we corrected it, and still get negatives all over the internet from this guy. This is why we cancelled. God bless this guy
