When I originally did my online search for an auto shipping company, I was flooded with offers...mostly automated responses or inexperienced costumer service representatives. But then I spoke to Kim Foster at Tru Auto Transport...and my search was over. I explained to Kim that I was moving to Kauai, Hawaii on February 28, 2011 and needed my car shipped before I left, from a friend's house in San Diego and on a specific day...or as close to that day as possible depending on unforeseen circumstances. I have to admit that had thousand things to do in a very short amount of time in order to make my move to Kauai. Fortunately, shipping my car was not a worry...Kim took care of everything. She was in constant contact with me throughout the process...and going the extra mile, she arranged my car to be picked up in San Diego on the exact day I wanted...and at 2:PM just like she had promised! In a world where everyone wants your business and promises you the moon in order to get it...and then when you sign the contract you are just another number and abandoned...well, not with Kim Foster, she explained everything in detail, arranged everything, had my car picked up on time, was in constant contact via email and phone...and most of all kept me from worrying about the fate of my car...even after the tsunami warning. My car arrived on schedule, and I just picked it up yesterday (March 22, 2011)...and it was in great condition, save a little expected grime from the journey. My "baby" arrived on schedule, safe and sound thanks to Kim Foster and her highly professional, but extremely friendly and personable customer service. And yes, the ship that carried my car did get it to Kauai on schedule, in great condition and made it super easy to pick up. But if it wasn't for Kim Foster, none of this would have happened as smoothly as it did...and this was one major concern that I did not have to worry about...and I worry!
