The classic bait and switch. I was quoted $350.00 and have the email from Kim to show that. I confirmed with Kim the day before pick up when she called and said she got a carrier to do it for $350.00 and I confirmed with her that that was the total cost and she confirmed that with me on the phone. I had put a deposit over the phone with her of $104.99 that would leave a balance owed of $245.00. When the driver got to the house, he loaded the car first and then wanted $350.00. Ab called and tried to tell me that the quoted was only an estimate and not a guaranteed price. I told him to take the car off the truck and leave it. He instructed the trucker to take the $245.00 and leave with the car. The then held the car hostage until we paid additional money. The said they would put it in storage in Michigan and I would be responsible for the storage fees.

This is not true and Mr.Blackiston deceived the carrier. He did know the carrier requested the extra fee and he agreed to it. The customers always receive a detailed email with all the dispatch information. On that email is the total price and the carrier fee. He was not the one to tell the driver to leave the car, I was the one to do so! Mr. Blackiston deceived the carrier by showing him the original quote given to him by Kim which showed the original quote, not the agreed price. He managed to convince the driver to leave with the vehicle, leaving us to deal with the driver. The only one that came out loosing was the poor guy that he sold the vehicle to and us. We had to mail the carrier $50.00 and the buyer pay the other $50.00 or the vehicle would be taken to a storage yard. Kim is no longer with our company. And that's the truth!
