Overcharged and not delivered to destination

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! The company they arranged for me was Flying Ryans Express and this guy was a total crook. He would not deliver to Seattle as prearranged and would only go as far as south Olympia which was 75 miles from the agreed upon destination. He then demanded $400 more than the agreed (drivers) payment of $2000 before he would unload. Because of his chosen delivery destination, I did not have the protection with me to argue with him if I wanted to receive my shipment undamaged, so I had to pay. Transport Services would not and could not protect me. I was told by Cory of Transport Services that I let myself be taken advantage of so it is my fault. They would take no responsibility whatsoever, even though they chose the shipper. Like many others, I chose this company based on their rating. They were not the cheapest nor most expensive. I did read all the reviews and even though they had some negative reviews, I felt that sometimes negative reviews are due to the customer being unreasonable and not necessarily the fault of the company. WRONG! I NOW FULLY BELIEVE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS OF THIS COMPANY. Transport Services are a shipping broker and not a shipping company themselves. Transport Services gets paid whatever they charge you for a deposit. The remainder (that you pay to the trucker) is what the actual trucking company gets paid. This itself is not necessarily a bad thing as it can take the work out of looking for a company yourself. The problem lies when you have problems with the trucking company as I did. Transport Services will not protect you from the trucking company. Save yourself a headache and some money. Eliminate the middle man (Transport Services) and deal with the trucking company directly.

100% UNTRUE. THIS CUSTOMER CANCELED WITH US AND TRIED TO GO DIRECTLY WITH THE DRIVER. THE DRIVER WROTE UP HIS OWN CONTRACT THAT THE CUSTOMER SIGNED AND CANCELED THE DEAL WITH TRANSPORT SERVICES. WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER WHAT THE CUSTOMERS DO IF THEY CANCEL WITH US. WE ARE SORRY THE DRIVER RIPPED HIM OFF, BUT IT WAS FOR THE FACT THAT HE WAS NO LONGER SHIPPING WITH OUR COMPANY AND THE DRIVER KNEW THERE WOULD BE NO REPERCUSSIONS.
