In trying to decide whether to fly up and pick up they car myself or have it shipped, I requested quotes. I got several, and at different broker fee prices. Transport Relief was a bit higher on the broker fee ($200), but the salesperson was very nice. I said that other carriers had lower rates, but did not guarantee delivery at the quoted price, and I wanted a guaranteed price. She said there would be no problem delivering the vehicle for the price quoted, and guaranteed delivery. Said it would be picked up within 3 days.

Of course their fee was required, up front, via check transfer which she insisted we complete then on a Saturday night (red flag).

It is now 23 days later, and no car. They said I would have "better chance" if I increased my offer to $1000 COD on TOP of the $200 fee they already charged me, more than doubling my quote. So far, they refuse to give me my deposit back, but I am initiating legal action, and we'll see how long that position lasts.

I found out after I had signed up that they very well could have checked on the "board" to see how many cars were waiting for that route, and at what price, and would easily have seen there were at least 17 cars waiting at double the price.

These people are liars and cheats. Do not use them.
