4/16/2014 - After doing my homework and reading all the reviews on this website. I was scared. I was very apprehensive in transporting my Chevy Truck to Houston, TX from Sacramento, CA. I thought about renting a truck and hauling it myself, but the 26 hour drive did agree with me either. The pricing is so extreme and very dishonest people looking to take advantage of your situation. I called Bill from Transport Connection to verify my price quote. He was a no nonsense type of guy. He seemed straight forward and gave me the honest answers even if it was something I didn't want to hear meaning the low ball price quotes I received from the other guys was not going to move my truck and I would be out the broker fee($250). After talking with him for about 45 min I decided to give him my business. I had tight deadlines as to when the truck needed to be picked up and how I wanted it carried- on flat bed rather than up on a rack. He was able to find me a carrier within 4 days of talking to him. He contacted me personally when he got a hit and 3-way conferenced me with the carrier making sure all my questions/worries were answered before he hung up. The carrier was very nice and personable. We performed a visual inspection of my vehicle before and after delivery. He gave me his cell phone number and text me pick-up and delivery times. I was pleasantly surprised on how easy this process was. I still think this business is unregulated and scary, but at least I know I am going to get what I pay for with Transport Connection.
