I really don't know where to begin writing this review but I believe the place to start is by sincerely thanking Transport Connection President Bill Avrich. I'm sure that what Bill did for me, he has done for many others looking to transport a vehicle from point A to B. And that was to "school" them in the transport industry tactics and jargon. This was the first time I had ever had to use such a service and let me tell you about the BIGGEST MISTAKE that you could ever make.... Don't get suckered in by these "boiler room" brokers and carriers that offer unrealistic low prices and B.S. pickup and delivery promises. Even after talking with several brokers (like 15) including Bill from Transport Connection (who explicitly warned me how the business worked) I have to admit that I was stuck on the lowest price offered and no matter what anyone said it wasn't going to change my mind. Until...... a week later when I didn't get any phone calls, returned emails, nothing about the status of my car being picked up and delivered. Now delayed a week, I needed to get some results so who do I call? Bill. Why? Let's just say he made a lasting impression on me that could not be forgotten. When I called Bill to ask for his help with my transportation dilemma he wasn't surprised at all that I got screwed. He told me in the first conversation exactly what was going to happen if I go the "cheapest" route and he was 100% correct. Well, to make a long story short.....We talked about fair prices and what the "board" was dictating as far as what comparable deliveries were paying and he went to work from there. He called me within 6 hours with a deal in the price range we had discussed. The agreement was the car would be picked up in three days and be delivered 2200 miles within seven days. The car was indeed picked up on the third day but was delivered in only five days, even better than what it was supposed to be. Bill did in 6 hours what the other guys couldn't do in 7 days. So in a nutshell, if you need something transported call Bill Avrich at Transport Connection. He has nothing to hide, is brutally honest, and knows how to get things done in a seemingly deceptive industry.
