I made the rookie's mistake of picking the broker that gave me the lowest quote. After signing the contract with the broker for a quote of $1040 to transport my car from Charlotte to SF, I never heard from the broker again until my shipping date. The day came, and I had received no word about a carrier being assigned. Or the next day. After a frustrating conversation with the supervisor, I decided to explore my other options.

This is when I contacted Sherle from Total Car Shipping. She was incredibly helpful through the whole process and revealed that the original broker had lied about the quote and had actually put $1200 on the central board. And of course, imagine my lack of surprise when the original broker called me back to tell me that it would be $1390 ($1200 for the driver, $190 for the broker). Because this was my only fast option to ship my car, I decided to take it. Even though I did not end up choosing Total Car Shipping, Sherle was incredibly understanding and was still amazing throughout the process. You could tell that she cared about her customers and was not only in it for the commission. If I ever need to ship my car again, I will definitely call her in the future as my first option.
