When I placed my order for shipment, I was very specific about the delivery date in California. The salesman made representations to me that there would be absolutely no problem in getting my car to California when I needed it. Notwithstanding the specific date that I needed the car delivered the car showed up 4 days late. I was never contacted about any delay in delivery until after I called to complain. I was told at that time that the transport truck broke down. There was also no follow up after I initially received information that the delivery date would be later than the date promised. When the car was finally delivered, it was filthy. The driver would not release the car unless we took the car as is, even though it was scratched. He also would not even allow us to make a notation on the paperwork about the scratches. He said this was because we cannot inspect the car when it is dirty. But he did not deliver the car clean and he wouldn't release the car to get it washed. The driver also tried to get us to give him a cashier's check made out to cash. That is not how business is conducted.
