Pros of Top Notch...1. Personal service by one representative, 2. Always willing to talk you through issues. 3. Personable representative, 4. Reasonable pricing (broker fee plus trucker fee). Cons of Top Notch...1. Felt pressured to commit, 2. Convinced door-to-door service was what I needed. 3. Must be ready to drop-off and pick-up within 30 minutes from the time the trucker calls, 4. Had to work through scheduling issues, 5. Trucker was very rude at pick-up, 6. Stress caused by flexible pick-up window.

My overall experience was bad. I depended on the broker to help me understand the differences between door-to-door and terminal services. I was convinced door-to-door service was worth the extra cost of the broker. I was wrong. Door-to-door service is more convenient for the auto transport company (brokers) and truckers than the customer. It requires the customer to be on-call for days on end. If you are busy and are not able to cater to a truckers schedules, you need terminal-to-terminal services. Do not let a broker convince you otherwise. Terminal-to-terminal services may take longer but are more convenient if you need control over your time.
