Shipped my 2008 Mustang Bullitt

I bought a 2008 Mustang Bullitt from a Ford dealer in Kansas City, MO and had it shipped to Somerset County, PA. It was picked up on 2/10/11 by Tom Baslik. He called me from the dealership to tell me he was there and to give me the delivery date which was to be 2/15. He said he would call me on 2/14 to arrange for delivery the next day. He called me on 2/13 and asked if delivery on 2/14 was ok. It was, and I made arrangements to meet him as he got off the PA Turnpike to lead him in to where the car was to be dropped off. In PA, you do not go to a state operated motor vehicle office to register a vehicle. Local service stations and notaries authorized by the state handle the registration procedure and issue marker plates. I had Tom drop the car at the service station near my home to be registered and inspected. The Bullitt only had 740 miles on it but had to be inspected because it came from out-of-state. I drove it the two miles to my home after it was registered. Tom was great and was very careful in unloading my car. I did have some concerns about shipping my Bullitt, but after seeing how Tom conducted himself, I realized that I hadn't had anything to worry about. Office personnel were a great help in arranging for the pickup. Charlene was the primary person who actually schedules the pickup time. Pam and Faith kept me updated when I called to see if everything was proceeding according to plan. There was a short delay in pickup time but that was due to the terrible snowstorms hitting the midwest and northeast. That was fine with me as I wouldn't want the driver to try to drive in horrendous winter weather if my car was part of the cargo. This was a very pleasant experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use Sunday Transport again. They are not a broker and operate their own vehicles using their own drivers. One other thing.....they didn't require a deposit. The driver is paid upon delivery the amount quoted by Charlene. The quote was not the least expensive and was not the most expensive that I got but I chose Sunday Transport after doing a lot of research into how vehicles are transported. I learned about Sunday Transport from my brother who saw their ad in Hemmings Motor News.
