I spent a few days talking with a few different transport brokers and getting quotes. I finalized a deal with The Auto Transport Group on Aug 24th. On the 26th they confirmed a driver for pickup on the 30th.
Although I was looking for an open carrier originally, they were able to fend an enclosed for just a couple hundred more...well worth it for a trip across the country.
Pickup occurred on the day quoted (albeit in early evening). The trip was supposed to take 7 days but ended up being 9. There was a holiday in that time which understandably had an impact.
The carrier that the Auto Transport Group used did an excellent job of securing the vehicle and it arrived in the same shape as it was picked up in.
In event I have another vehicle to transport, I will contact these guys to arrange.
