Suncoast makes it a point to fully explain exactly how this industry works to all of our customers. This vehicle was going from Fl-Mass which is the busiest route in the U.S. right now. This makes scheduling a carrier a little more difficult since there are so many vehicles on that route. Of course we do everything we can to save our customers some money and get the job done at the cheapest rate possible but if the customer has specific dates the vehicle needs to be picked up, we suggest the expedited fee to make sure this type of situation does not occur. The customer chose not to expedite the vehicle and we did the best we could to locate a driver in time, but unfortunately it did not work out. This customer was fully aware of the consequences with starting with a cheaper rate as the carriers will always pick up whats priced higher first. This is why it is not always in the best interest to start with a low quote on very busy routes. We told this customer to add some money so we could try and hit the pick up dates for him and he refused. Dates are not guaranteed until the carrier is scheduled for pick up which this customer was aware of.
