I went to one of those websites where you can receive seven quotes for shipping a vehicle. I only needed to provide the car make and model, pick-up city and delivery city, and e-mail address and phone number. (I wish I hadn't given my real phone number). An hour later, I received a quote from Stateway Auto Transport. It was a good quote and the shipment could be completed in less than a week!

Over the next couple of hours, I received more quotes, all of them higher than Stateway. I also started receiving phone calls from people wanting to ship my car. Most were pleasant but didn't want to take "NO" for an answer. Some asked which company I had decided to use, and how much was their quote. Some suggested I was going to be ripped off by Stateway. One was downright rude and I had to hang up on him.

By contrast, Susie at Stateway was polite, friendly, and professional. When I told her about some of the calls I had received, she expressed concern that I had to deal with people like that. Rudeness and false accusations are bad for ALL business, not just the ones who are trying to give transport companies a bad name.

In conclusion, do yourself a favor if you need to ship a car. Call or e-mail Stateway Auto Transport. You'll like the way you're treated, and you'll save yourself a lot of money.
