Bad Experience

Before I booked, I properly researched auto transport companies using this website. Rebecca at Stateway Auto was always quick & available to answer my inquires before I booked. She explained that Stateway owns their own trucks and employs their own drivers. She also said that the pick up from FL would have to be a Mon, Tue or Wed.

So, I gave her May 10, 11 or 12. The car was not picked up on any of these days. During this three day period, I placed numerous calls to Stateway and left numerous messages for Rebecca to call, but she was impossible to reach. As soon as they received my deposit, they disappeared. I tried every extension including dispatch. I even called the business number in IL, but it was disconnected. My emails went unanswered, as well.

On May 13, Rebecca responded to my numerous messages to say they were having a problem finding a driver. Pretty hard to believe for a company who employs their own drivers. I cancelled the order and Rebecca said I'd get a refund on my deposit in 3-5 days. Now, on day six, still no refund.

As soon as they got my deposit, everything went downhill. A very disappointing experience.
