We had never shipped an auto before. The prospect and price of driving our car to across country and bringing a new one back inspired us to consider shipping it. After searching the internet and talking with other companies, we picked Gilles and Amber from State 2 State Auto Transport in FL. They instilled trust in us from the start. Through the internet we established that they had been solidly invested in the area and community for a good while. They did not mind that we called them a dozen times before and during the transport. They took time to explain the whole business and what to expect.
We had a car picked up from a dealer in CA and brought to FL then we shipped my car from FL to my son in CA. We happily paid about $800 each way.
The transport driver couldn't have been nicer.He brought the car right to our house in perfect condition. Did the car check and paid him and then we went to watch the second car going back to CA get loaded on to the rig. It was pretty cool. You always see carriers on the road and now our car was riding on one. The rig was long with two decks and about five other cars. There was an new Escalade on the top of our precious 02 Ford so were in good company- Speaking of good companies, I can't thank Gilles and Amber enough for guiding us through this new experiance! Worked just as they said it would.
