I contacted Specialty Mobile systems to transport my disabled auto from Tallahassee FL to Pawtucket RI. The company quoted me a price of $1095 which they said covered all costs. The dispatcher reminded me that the pick up or drop off date could be off by as much as ten days. It is impossible to predict weather and mechanical problems to the transport truck. This seems to be an industry wide guideline so I was not concerned.

They scheduled pick up tfor 4 days from my call and estimated delivery 4 days after pick up.

My situation was a little different from most people as I had to move on from Florida before my car was picked up and I could not be in RI when it was dropped off. Specialty Mobile Systems had me at their mercy.

I have worked for people that would have taken advantage of my situation and worried that I would be put off and manipulated by the company. My fear and worry were a waste of time and antacids. Specialty Mobile Systems picked up my vehicle on time and delivered it on time without damage. The service called me as soon as the car was delivered so I could check on the condition of the car with the repair facility.

I am very pleased with the job the company did for me and would heartily recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle free experience.

What was imperfect was the lack of communication on who the carrier would be and how to track the shipment. I take half of that responsibility as I did not call for any further information after I found out the car was picked up on time. It was obvious the company could get this done without my help.

I really am very pleased.
