We wanted our daughter's car moved from Oregon to Florida, and needed it to arrive around (no earlier than) December 15th. We hired Specialty Mobile in late November. Because this is the holiday season, and based upon other reviews I've read on this site, I was expecting the car to be picked up in Oregon sometime in late December. I was very pleasantly surprised to get a call from Dee at Specialty telling me that the car would be picked up within 2 days. It was. The car arrived in Florida on the 16th (a day after our "don't deliver prior to" date). We were delighted that they got so close to our requested delivery date.

Although Specialty Mobile is mainly a transporter (not a broker), they did fill the role of a broker in our case. They told me this up-front. They actually subcontracted to a transporter called Advenced Auto Carrier-- who did a very good job. My only complaint is that English is not their first language (I think they might be eastern European), and so I sometimes had difficulty understanding them due to the thick accents, and sometimes their limited English vocabulary.

Nevertheless, the car arrived in perfect condition, and very ontime. We got exactly what we expected, and were informed of progress every step of the way. I recommend Specialty Mobile based on our positive experience.
