Although i was thouroughly pleased with Specialty Mobile Systems (SMS) and their responsiveness and professionalilsm, the company they brokered out to do the move (express delivery out of washington state) I was not pleased wth at all. Their communication was absolutely terrible to say the least. When i spoke with SMS about the issue and lack of communication they agreed and had similar problems with them.

I was told they'd give me 24 hrs notice to pick up the vehicle. That didnt happen. In fact on the third day of the range of days they said it would be picked up i had to call them to see where they were and if they were going to show up. Their dispatcher eventually called back (after over 2 hrs and serverall of my calls to SMS) to say they'd call 30 mins before they picked up the vehicle and it would be within 3 hrs. Well, 4 hrs went by and no call. they finally called about 5 hrs later and siad they were out front and ready for the car, so much for 30 mins.

We had similar problems on the delivery end, they were very late and never called to give us a heads up.

Bottom line, is SMS handled the situation very well and i'd use them again however DO NOT let Express Delivery ship your vehicle.
