This was a transport of my daughter's car from my home in Orlando, FL to Monterey, CA. Due to her work schedule and her travel schedule, we gave only a 3 day window to pick up the car. Because of the short timeframe, we paid an additional $100 which is reasonable.
The car was picked up on the last day of the window. About half way through, in Texas, we got a call that the truck had broken down and there would be a couple of day delay in delivery. The transport company said that we would get a partial refund because of the delay.
The car was only 2 days later than the original estimate and I did get $150 of my fee back. Not bad way of doing business. When my daughter finishes her 2 year school and returns, I will use the same company again.
