My daughter was heading to college in Ohio and I needed to get her SUV from Alaska to Ohio. I also needed to time the delivery so it would arrive just before she started school. It was originally shipped from Anchorage, Alaska and then headed to Tacoma, Washington. I checked the internet and signed up for e-quotes from several companies. Ironically, I did not go with any of them. I did see the great reviews for Specialty Mobile Systems and headed to their website for a quote. The downfall of signing up for all those quotes is the flood of e-mails that follow! Several weeks later, I still get them.

This was the very first time I had ever shipped a vehicle either by ship or truck. I received a quote extremely fast using Specialty Mobile's website. With an e-mail and phone call, our truck was scheduled to be picked up in Washington state. We put the truck on the ship in Anchorage and it arrived in Tacoma the following weekend and was available for pickup that Monday. I had a window of 72 hours that our truck needed to be picked up in Tacoma. Specialty Mobile came through and had a company pick it up well within that window.

The timing could not have been more perfect for our trucks arrival to Ohio. My daughter received it in exactly the same condition it left our garage.

The people at Specialty Mobile especially Dee, were extremely helpful and kind. She understood my concerns and made me feel at ease. Dee was extremely friendly, professional, and went the extra mile for me. Their communication was great and Dee kept me up to speed from the pick to the delivery. I also was helped by Denise and found her just as helpful and friendly. By the time our truck arrived in Ohio, I had felt like I had known Dee for years. Ever so friendly and just a wonderful person. It is obvious customer satisfaction is number one to them.

In summary, save yourself from those floods of e-mails and just head over to Specialty Mobile's website. They were the best and their price was right! I would recommend them to any of my friends and family and I would look no further. I can't say enough positive things about Specialty Mobile and this review is the least I can do. Thank you for making our vehicle move painless and also for a great price! When the day comes that my daughter will head back to Alaska, my first phone call will be to Specialty Mobile!!
