My experience with Specialty Mobile Systems and the carrier that they contracted for me, Rinehart Transport (York, PA), was excellent. We moved from Princeton, NJ to Tucson, AZ in July 2005. SMS requested a two-week window for picking up our car, but as it happened, the car was picked up about a week before our moving date. The first carrier that SMS found requested payment in advance. When I expressed hesitation SMS said no problem, we'll find another carrier. Rinehart got our car to AZ the morning after we arrived ourselves with no problems whatsoever. Both SMS and Rinehart were friendly and easy to do business with. I have no complaints about either and give them the highest recommendation. Although the SMS quote ($1095) was $50 to $100 more than other quotes we got, I felt that the extra money was worth it for peace of mind. It's clear that SMS is building their business on their reputation, and it looks like they go to great lengths to avoid getting bad reviews. That gave me a lot of confidence in using them.
