I found out about Specialty Mobile Systems thru Auto Transport Reviews.com. They had the highest customer satisfaction and rating. I have had a very bad experience with a different auto transport two years ago. I was much more careful this time. Yes, Specialty Mobile Systems was more expensive.

On 06/27/2005, I called up Specialty Mobile Systems, given a quote and asked if my Ford Expedition was ready for transport. I gave them the green light. Two days later, I received a phone call and my Ford Expedition was picked up in Alabama. The vehicle arrived California one week after if was picked up in excellent condition. The driver was very professional and cordial. This was absolutely the smoothest and most pleasant experience of auto transportation. The staff at Specialty Mobile Systems are experienced professionals, very nice to deal with and were very helpful. My wife and I give them our highest recommendations and would not hesitate to use them again.
