I shipped an 09' e92 M3 from NJ to CA. Broker was very responsive. Broker set me up with a great carrier company. I met with the driver, on a Monday, at an agreed upon location, to deliver my car. The driver loaded the car in front of me and took off to CA. The driver got the car there in 5 days when the contract read 10 days. The car was going to be delivered and stored at the carrier's Terminal in L.A. as I was traveling.

Only two issues I had with the Broker:

1) He had no information if my car was delivered or not. I reached out to the broker on a Friday (day of delivery) and he informed me that he would reach out to the dispatcher for the carrier as well as the driver and get back to me. I received no response from the broker. On Saturday, I had to call back the broker and he said he is getting no response from the dispatcher or driver. In my mind I am saying thanks for calling me back (when you said you would) and at the least keeping me posted. I found this to be extremely disturbing. So I simply sent a text to the driver on Saturday, since I had his mobile number due to arranging a pick up location, and he informed me (immediately) that the car was delivered on Friday. The broker never knew about it.

2) I needed the address to the terminal to pick up my car and asked the broker to confirm the correct address because the dispatcher and driver gave me two different addresses. The broker said he would find out and get back to me. 6 days later he did not. When the car was delivered I called the number on a document that was given to me when the car was picked up and confirmed the drop off location.

Both items above are tasks that the broker should be doing as he/she is paid to do so.

However, the broker is responsive. Never had an issue where I could not find him. The broker should be more proactive in keeping in touch with the deals he brokers until the car is delivered. I should not be running around the driver or dispatcher to figure out the most obvious answers.

Overall, I will use this broker again as I have 3 more cars that need to be shipped and will make sure such information is captured ahead of time or on time.
