Nervous at first....but everything went fine!

I was really nervous about the entire auto transport process. I ultimately chose South Beach because I thought it was weird to pay a company upfront (or a portion) for the service before the car was delivered. Ugh- I dont think so!! I tried to slightly haggle the price - which they agreed to - but I was then told no trucks were available because of soooo many 'snow birds' traveling back up north. I didn't really buy this story -especially when they said if I agreed to pay the original full price then more trucks would be available. None the less, I still went with South Beach bc they were the first company to call and leave me a VM. (Other companies just called and never left VM's-annoying) South Beach was one of the higher quotes I got but the reviews (which I read here) were simply put less scary than the others I read. My car was picked up from AZ 1 day after I signed the contract (Thursday). I didn't hear from my driver until Sunday night and to my surprise he was going to drop off the car that night. (1 day earlier than expected) I could hardly understand my driver (think accent from I have no idea where) but was just glad he was close. We examined the car together once it was delivered and I paid the driver cash! All in all the experience was fine. I freaked out over nothing. So- my review is that South Beach is a reputable company.
