First of all, I want to say that I don't leave reviews generally but in this case, I have to. My husband and I have had to ship two vehicles to our daughter in law school in Virginia within 6 months of each other. The first time we had to ship her vehicle to her we knew nothing about the process at all. We went online and were horrified by what we learned about this whole process and the stealing, cheating, lying, and trickery that went on in the industry. After a lot of calls and fear I happened to call John Gardner at Sonic Auto Transportation. He was extremely kind to me and explained everything to me. He was very honest about the process and promised he would keep us updated the entire time. He kept his promise. He told us everything that would happen and called to verify every single thing. He asked about the drivers and how they treated us, how they treated our daughter's vehicle and most importantly to us how they treated our daughter. They were fantastic! And that's not to say that everything will go right every time - It's the honesty and conversations that John had with us along the way. There was a slight delay by a day when the car arrived. John called me ahead of time and let me know what was happening. This is an industry where things can change due to traffic, weather, and other factors. As long as I know what is happening I am good!! Ok to cut an already long story short... 6 months later our daughter was in a car accident that totaled her car. We decided to ship her one of our vehicles for the time being. I immediately called John Gardner again, explaining the situation and that we needed to make this happen as soon as possible. An extremely nice guy arrived the next morning to pick up our car. Again, John called us and kept us informed and the day her car was due to be dropped off at our daughter's apartment John called to verify that everything went the way it was supposed to. Not only was the transporter great to us but he was great to our daughter and drove his truck right up to her apartment building and brought the car to her. Sometimes they have to park elsewhere because the truck is too large to be parked in an area. He was lovely to her and even said he would have driven the car to her instead of making her meet him somewhere! He called her the night before he was arriving and an hour before he arrived at her house the day of delivery! I just cannot say enough about the absolute professionalism and care shown to us. I would absolutely recommend John Gardner and Sonic Auto Transport to anyone and we will use them forever to transport any vehicles for us! Thank you John!!!
