We had a completely satisfactory experience shipping our 1992 BMW 325i from California to our daughter in Columbus, Ohio. The car was picked up at the end of the scheduled day and loaded into an enclosed trailer. It arrived at its destination on the last day of the three day delivery window stated by the carrier. The vehicle owner has to be a little flexible in terms of pickup and delivery locations. I proposed pickup in a nearby mall parking lot, but the driver actually was able to stop and load at a wide spot in a main thoroughfare near our house. On the delivery end, a similar thing happened and our college-age daughter was a little flustered by that. But everything turned out fine and the car arrived in perfect shape. Oleg, the driver with All Ways Transport, was very nice and cooperative. I had confidence that he would handle his rig responsibly.
